Did you bring family and children to Sweden? We understand the importance of them also thriving here. Our own experience is that good, local relations and friendships make up a solid foundation for feeling at home in a new place.
After all, Home is more than a building or a place. It is built up of a number of factors such as house, job, schools, society and friends. History and memories play a vital role. Having more than one place so important that one calls it Home, is really to be both rich and successful.
We’d like to encourage you to make the most of your time in Sweden. This program is our way to help you along the way.
Nothing beats a network of local contacts
Relational networks help tremendously when tackling issues like finding a new home, understanding the system and the culture or learning the language.
It is said that 4 out of 5 jobs are filled through contacts. Even the climate (sometimes a challenge to cope with, we admit!) can become easier to tackle with Swedish friends who share their winter-hacks with you!
Matching you with a safe, local Swede
The key thing GNRSLY has to offer you is good and safe local Swedish people to hang out with. They are in this program for the simple reason that they want to get to know a person like you, introduce you to their culture, their relatives and friends, expand their own network as well as yours, and learn about your culture. There’s a mutual win-situation.
The Swedes are also in the program because we trust them, either because we know them, or because someone we trust has recommended them to us.
In order to help us find you the best possible match, we ask you to fill in a rather detailed personal profile as the next step.

Obviously, we have no power over the development of true friendships.
However, we will deliver a setting and conditions favourable to the development of a relationship that you together can grow into a lasting friendship.
